Re.Lion.Bat. Circular is a joint venture of the mobility specialist LUEG and DEPPE Group and combines the core competencies and potentials of both companies to set up a comprehensive value chain for the recycling of lithium batteries.
Innovation and sustainability are the focus of the joint venture between the LUEG and the DEPPE Group: The two partners have founded Re.Lion.Bat. Circular, a company for the recycling of lithium batteries, to establish a holistic recycling process. This not only includes dismantling and discharging, but also logistics and storageing, recycling up to the black mass as well as alternative concepts for battery recycling in the second life process.
The investment in a new, state-of-the-art recycling plant in Meppen is a milestone on the way to sustainability and conservation of resources in battery recycling. The preliminary stages of the recycling process are mapped decentrally via the LUEG service network in order to set up an easy and flexible one-stop shopping solution in combination with the logistics services of the Deppe Group.
